Kessler clinicians and medical staff,
working closely with scientists and researchers, are exploring
new and effective treatments that extend the boundaries of
rehabilitation ... and offer new hope for our patients.
In cooperation with Kessler
Medical Rehabilitation Research and Education Corporation,
(KMRREC), we are, for example, gaining a greater understanding
of how the brain works following injury or as the result of
a degenerative disease, how muscles groups function after
stroke or how the body responds following a spinal cord injury.
As a result, new approaches to rehabilitation, including the
use of virtual reality, are providing exciting treatment options.
It is this forward-thinking approach to rehabilitation that
continues to identify Kessler as a leader in this field.
