David Yakobashvili, M.D.

Dr. David Yakobaskvili attended medical school at Tbilisi Republican Hospital in the country of Georgia, graduating with honors. After coming to the United States, he was accepted in an externship in pulmonary medicine at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Brooklyn, which he finished in 1994. He later completed a residency in internal medicine at Saint Vincent’s Medical Center in Staten Island, New York.

A board certified internist, Dr. Yakobashvili has been with the Kessler Institute since 1998, providing care for general medical conditions. He is fluent in English, Russian and Georgian.

Dr. Yakobaskvili has been an associate member of the American College of Physicians since 1995.
