Training for Tomorrow
Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation is committed to the education of rehabilitation professionals – and has been since our founding in 1948. While our primary focus is on the delivery of the finest patient care, we also seek to enhance the practice of medical rehabilitation and continually increase the industry's knowledge in this field.
Each year, hundreds of current and future practitioners in every rehabilitation discipline receive advanced education and training at our campuses. Working closely with our experienced staff, they learn about clinical advances, best practices, new and emerging scientific findings and technologies, and patient-centered care.
We provide core training experiences for resident physicians, fellows and post-doctoral students who are working towards their respective specialty and subspecialty certifications. We also provide clinical education for hundreds of students pursuing advanced degrees in rehabilitation medicine; physical, occupational, speech and recreation therapy; nursing; psychology and neuropsychology; and other disciplines.
Interestingly, Kessler hosts numerous international observers from many different countries who are seeking to understand our highly specialized approach to medical rehabilitation so that they may apply these best practices to the own programs in their home countries.
