Brittany Snider, D.O.

Clinical Chief of Outpatient Spinal Cord Injury Services

Dr. Snider specializes in spinal cord injury medicine, neurologic rehabilitation and spasticity management.

Dr. Brittany Snider is the clinical chief of outpatient spinal cord injury (SCI) services for Kessler Institute. Board certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation as well as spinal cord injury medicine, Dr. Snider focuses on the continuum of care for individuals with SCI.

Dr. Snider’s research interests include the management of chronic SCI and use of robotic technologies. In addition to presenting at many national conferences, she has published numerous articles and abstracts in peer-reviewed journals. She is a member of the Academy of Spinal Cord Injury Professionals, American Spinal Injury Association, American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and the Association of Academic Physiatrists, and holds an academic appointment at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School – Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.

Dr. Snider earned a bachelor’s degree in biology from Kalamazoo College and received a doctorate in osteopathic medicine from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed a residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota and a fellowship in spinal cord injury medicine through Rutgers New Jersey Medical School. She joined the staff at Kessler Institute – West Orange in 2021.
