Dr. Vij specializes in amputee, orthopedic and musculoskeletal rehabilitation and electrodiagnostic medicine

Dr. Raman Vij is the clinical chief of outpatient services at Kessler’s Saddle Brook campus. Board certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation, she specializes in amputee, orthopedic and musculoskeletal rehabilitation. She also holds subspecialty board certification in electrodiagnostic medicine and is experienced in the use of botulinum toxin (Botox) for spasticity.

Dr. Vij serves an assistant clinical professor in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School. She has also lectured widely on a number of topics, including muscle physiology and electromyography perspectives for the arm, elbow, neck, spine and hip.

Dr. Vij received an undergraduate degree from the Science College in Patna Biha, India, and a medical degree from Rajendra Medical College, Ranchi, Bihar, India. She completed a residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at Montefiore Medical Center in New York City. She joined Kessler Institute in 1982.
