Stroke (201)
This intermediate level, e-learning curriculum consists of 7 courses covering various aspects of stroke management that may be accessed on demand. This e-learning format provides learners the opportunity to explore specific impairments seen in patients affected by stroke including spatial neglect, pusher syndrome, bowel and bladder complications, and gait abnormalities. Learners are also given the opportunity to explore and apply the principles of neuroplasticity. An overview of the must haves for establishing a comprehensive stroke program in the inpatient rehabilitation setting and key outcome measures for this patient population are also included in this curriculum. This course also highlights the entire transdisciplinary team’s impact on the patient’s care.
