Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation Ranked in Top Tier of Inpatient Rehabilitation Hospitals by U.S. News & World Report
West Orange, NJ – July 29, 2025 – Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation has been named among the country’s “Best Rehabilitation Hospitals,” according to U.S. News & World Report’s Best Hospitals rankings for 2025-2026. Achieving a rank of #4, this is the 33rd consecutive year Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation has received the prestigious designation.

The West Orange-based hospital joins seven additional Select Medical inpatient rehabilitation hospitals across the country to receive the “Best Rehabilitation Hospitals” designation from U.S. News & World Report for 2025-2026. The annual Best Hospitals ranking is designed to assist patients and their doctors in making informed decisions about where to receive quality care for challenging health conditions or elective procedures.
To determine the Best Hospitals, U.S. News analyzed each hospital’s performance based on objective measures such as risk-adjusted mortality rates, preventable complications and level of nursing care. The Best Hospitals Specialty rankings methodology and Procedures & Conditions ratings methodology measure patient outcomes using data from over 800 million records of patient care.
