Begin your journey

All patients have the right to choose their rehabilitation provider and that choice can make a difference in your recovery. You or a family member should discuss care options with your doctor and/or discharge planner, social worker or case manager. You can voice your preference for Kessler Institute. We will work closely with you, your family and health care team in coordinating a smooth transition to our rehabilitation hospital.

Our goal, like yours, is to begin treatment when you are medically stable and able to participate in our highly specialized programs of care:

When you are transferred to Kessler, we will help you get settled. We provide an orientation to our hospital and the rehabilitation care you will receive. You will meet your rehabilitation team – doctors, nurses, therapists and other clinical and support staff – who work with you throughout your stay.
You will work hard to achieve your goals. We will be with you every step of the way, providing the care, training, strategies and support to optimize your independence and help you rebuild your life.
