Neel C. Patel, Pharm.D, MBA

Neel Patel, CEO of Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation (KIR) - West Orange, oversees the 152-bed hospital’s daily clinical and administrative operations including the delivery of safe, quality patient care, employee engagement, regulatory compliance, facility management, financial performance and overall governance. Neel previously served as the CEO of KIR - Chester.

Previous to that, he was the regional director of pharmacy, responsible for all pharmacy operations, including regulatory, accreditation, staffing/training and inventory management across KIR’s Chester, Saddle Brook and West Orange hospitals. He also worked closely with leadership on a wide range of operational and business performance initiatives.

Prior to joining KIR in 2015 as the director of pharmacy at the Chester campus, Neel was the assistant vice president of operations at SPECIALTY Rx and worked as a staff pharmacist.

Neel earned his Doctor of Pharmacy from Long Island University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Scranton.
