Dr. Russo specializes in brain injury medicine and general rehabilitation.
Dr. Jennifer Russo, a staff physiatrist at Kessler Institute – Saddle Brook, is experienced in the care of individuals with brain injury and other complex medical rehabilitation needs.
Board certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation, Dr. Russo has conducted research, presented at national conferences, published journal articles and contributed to book chapters on various aspects of brain injury treatment and outcomes. She is a member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Association of Academic Physiatrists and holds a faculty appointment at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School – Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
Dr. Russo graduated from the New York University Tisch School of the Arts and participated in an accelerated post-baccalaureate premedical science program at Columbia University before earning her doctorate from the Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons. She completed a general surgery internship at North Shore/Long Island Jewish Hospital, physical medicine and rehabilitation residency at Burke Rehabilitation Hospital and brain injury medicine fellowship at New York University Grossman School of Medicine. Dr. Russo joined Kessler Institute in 2021.
