Dr. Cooperman specializes in physical medicine and rehabilitation.
Dr. Todd Cooperman is a staff physiatrist at Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation - Saddle Brook and is experienced in the inpatient and outpatient care of individuals with stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, cancer and multi-trauma. He is also interested in mind body medicine.
Board certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation, Dr. Cooperman has conducted research, published journal articles and presented on a variety of topics related to critical illness neuropathy and myopathy, mind body medicine and cancer rehabilitation.
He is a member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation and has been recognized as a Top Doctor in New Jersey. He holds a faculty appointment at Rutgers Health New Jersey Medical School - Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
Dr. Cooperman received a bachelor’s degree in biomedical science from The Sophie Davis School of Biomedical Education at The City College of New York. He earned his medical degree from the State University of New York at Stony Brook. He completed residency training in physical medicine and rehabilitation at JFK Johnson Rehabilitation Institute in New Jersey in 1997 and, in 2023, joined Kessler Institute.
