Residency and fellowship training
Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation is committed to educating and training the next generation of physical medicine and rehabilitation (PM&R) physicians. In fact, Kessler, in affiliation with the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey – now Rutgers New Jersey Medical School – introduced New Jersey’s first PM&R residency program in 1975. Today, our residency program – along with our post-graduate spinal cord injury and brain injury medicine fellowships – is among the most sought after program in the nation.
These fully accredited programs offer residents/fellows an unparalleled educational experience – from managing patients’ complex medical, physical, functional, psychological and behavioral needs to conducting research and pursuing teaching opportunities.
